Chocolate Protein Mug Cake 

• 1/2 scoop whey protein
• 1 1/2 tbsp puréed pumpkin or unsweetened apple sauce 
• 1 packet of sweetener your choice
• 1 tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)
• 1 egg white
• 1/4 tsp baking powder 
• Sprinkle of cinnamon

Mix all ingredients well in a microwave safe mug and cook for 60 seconds. Topped with chocolate PB2 and a couple of melted dark chocolate chips. Tasted exactly like a brownie!

I forgot to take a picture of my heart monitor so here’s a picture of me feeling unmotivated because it was such a gloomy day. But guess what, I went and felt awesome! A lot of times I really don’t want to go work out, but I make myself at least drive there. Almost every single time once I’m in the parking lot, why not go inside and work out? I always end up getting pumped and enjoying myself!
A lot more people are getting used to seeing me work out and are talking to me, someone helped me with my hammer curl form today. I can appreciate anyone who sees that I’m doing something wrong and helps me fix it!

Today’s chest and tri’s! I’m going to try to get a little shoulder work in there, that injury needs to go awaaaaay.

Holy crap you guys!

Waking up to see that many notes on a photo of myself is so incredibly humbling! I hope that you know how inspirational and encouraging that is to ME, and it blows my mind that you guys are as stoked on my progress as I am. It just makes me want to push that much harder.

With that being said, I’m about to finish my oats and SMASH back and biceps! :-)

Go workout! Nothing will change if you choose to do nothing!

Also, I’ve never posted a before/after picture ANYWHERE, I don’t know why I am embarrassed of what I USED to look like, but since this is all fitness related, why not?

Dedication through everything. Having to turn down Girl Scout cookies, and order salads when everyone’s having cheese burgers. Working out while you’re sick, working out when you’re exhausted and all you want to do is sleep. Hard work WILL pay off as long as you have the patients and willpower to stick it out. I promise it’s all worth it.

Dumb

Realized today at the gym I hurt my shoulder more than I thought. Shoulder day was sloppy and light and it really bums me out. I was too discouraged to try anything else so I left - 650 kcal burnt. Going back this evening to try back and biceps, fingers crossed it will go a lot better.
